HCL has again flooded the world markets with its new launch of the HCL Tablet Me U1 which supports android 4.o also known as the ice-cream sandwich tablet. HCL has tried to lure people by providing them a great deal of benefits by this new tablet launch. It is cheap and provides some excellent applications. It has a storehouse of almost 17 applications. HCL has launched 2 more tablets benefitting the student’s right from the kindergarten.
The U1 tablet doesn’t have any specific contents in it, whereas the K12 version offers course material and costs around 11000, which includes extra charges for the content. And a higher version of this tablet includes content which can be accessed on the cloud, and it is priced as 1000, but includes 2000 for the cloud access of contents.
The newly arrived HCL me u1 tablet has an excellent 1GHz processor, a 7 inch large display, a 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a camera, a USB port and a micro sd slot. Design and hardware-
The HCL me tablet has a milky white color. It is made up of polycarbonate cover. It is completely touch interface. It has a 1 GHz cortex A8 processor. It comes with a video facility of 30fps fully HD 1080P which enables the user to have a clear and full HD visuals.
Display and sound-
The HCL tablet has an excellent display with a large and touch interfaced display screen with almost 16 million colours. It has inbuilt mono speakers of 1 watt and also jack audio port for the purpose of headphones. it has a VGA camera fitted on the tablet which enables video callings. It has low resolution capacity but makes conference calls possible.
